Kimpton Vividora Hotel, an IHG Hotel

Even tho we only spend a night in Kimpton Vividora Barcelona, it was everything we needed and wanted. My boyfriend just got into his dream university and not thinking too much of it I asked the hotel, if it’s possible for them to make it a little bit more special for us, especially for him. They called me to ask for some details: what university is he going to, do we want balloons, what snacks does he prefer (sweet/salty) and if we want a champagne, I was really shocked that they wanted to be so prepared. My boyfriend didn’t know anything, it was supposed to be a surprise, and lady at the reception didn’t disappoint! she was discreet about the cause of our “random” upgrade, Everything was as I imagined and even more! My boyfriend was really happy and I was also, about choosing this hotel for our small celebration, which they made unforgettable, thank you again the best hotel in Barcelona!

I visited on January 2022 and had an absolutely wonderful experience. from the minute we stepped into the hotel the first time until our last day in Barcelona, my husband and I were really thankful with the experience and glad we did not book in another hotel. The staff (all of them with no exception) were all amazing! If you go there make sure to ask about Edward as well, he is Super nice and super helpful! he made sure that our experience was at its best and always helped us with everything related to our stay and our tourism plan without even asking him. Edward if you are reading this thank you to you and your best team :) the location of the hotel was at the center of many attractions - walking distance to all of the main areas in the city. also it is surrounded by supermarkets, shops, pharmacies, all the necessities that you might need. some people wrote reviews about the size of the room. to us it was perfect since we were tourists so we were going to spend most of our day out. also regardless of the size of the rooms and its closeness to each other, the hotel and its location were very quiet not noisy inside at all, unlike our experience in the rest of Europe. So we did not hear any noise coming in from the outside, nor noise coming in from the inside (kids, or any noisy guests). Finally, their beds were amazing and really comfy. we did not get to try their breakfast but definetly will do it next time.

The food was excellent. Breakfasts were great and the rooftop bar/restaurant is outstanding.

Where do I start with this hotel, put simply our entire experience was amazing. We arrived early from the airport, not only were we able to check in early, they offered us a free room upgrade. They even delivered a hand written note with a bottle of champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries to our room as they knew we were on our honeymoon and wanted us to enjoy our experience. Lara and Guillermo (sorry if I spelt this name incorrect) were exceptional. The hotel is aesthetically beautiful, in a fabulous location (walking distance to all the shopping and La Rambla). The rooftop bar and pool has one of the best views of the city, and a great place for drinks and nibbles during the day or afternoon. The hotel rooms were spacious and really comfy. All in all a fantastic stay, highly recommend.

The rooms were amazing, beds incredibly comfortable and very clean. Everything you could need in the room and in an excellent location! The staff couldn’t have been more helpful even letting us check in early after a very early flight into Barcelona. I normally don’t recommend breakfast at the hotel but this was a must, very varied, excellent service and no buffet which was great.
